He looked at Lukas with a smirk on his face and had to shake his head slightly. "I think your interesting." He swallowed once and looked away. He wanted to ask him out on a date, but the words wouldn't come. Thinking about it for a minute, he realized he was nervous and...slightly afraid of the answer? That was totally unlike him. Why did Lukas make him feel this way.
"They get enough money through regular taxes and how much they charge for everyday necessities and even more on luxuries, they don't need to do to due collections, that's just them being greedy and hoping that if enough people are upset at the resistance, they will rise up against them and side with the government." He had been around for a while, and while not having an informant within the government, he couldn't prove it, but this type of fear tactic always worked. If regular means of persuasion to join the governmental side didn't work, hit them in the pockets...that tactic was nearly always effective.
He let go of Lukas ankle and leaned his back against the counter, leaning next to him. "I was checking to see if you strained or sprained it. Its merely strained, its swollen a little, but its not hot. I'm sure with your expert care it will heal in no time." He looked away for a minute while he gathered up the courage. "If you are free later, and your leg is feeling better, would you like to get dinner with me? My treat?"

Lukas felt his face blushing…again. Why did this one man get to him so much? It had never been hard for him to bluntly say something to anybody even his own little brother, but this man made him feel…shy and odd. He couldn’t even tell if he liked it or hated it.
Lukas shrugged. The government was going to do what the government wanted to do. As long as Lukas was able to help people he would pay whatever he had to, to keep his business. It wasn’t that Lukas didn’t agree with Sadiq, he did. However, Lukas was a realist and knew the government would use whatever means necessary to crush the resistance and that the civilians were going to be the ones to make the sacrifices not either side.
Lukas felt his heart stop at Sadiq’s question. “I’m not busy….I would like that. What time is good for you?””

Seeing Lukas blush, he had to hid a smile. He was cute when he blushed, it made him get this look of slight confusion on his face that looked cute on him. He acted like he didn't get confused a lot, but it was just too cute to see him blush like he was.
He had to calm himself down, thinking about how the government acted with such disrespect to others lives and what they needed to live made him upset. Taking a deep breath, he smiled at the other again and put the government out of his mind. He didn't need to be thinking of them right now, not when he had a gentlemen in front of him that deserved his attention a lot more than the government did.
With a yawn, he had to grin slightly. seemed that he was getting tired...he wasn't surprised though, he didn't have more than two hours sleep the night before...and that was after a full nights sleep. "Would tomorrow work for you? I could come bye around five or so to pick you up. Do you have anything that you prefer to eat? I'm not picky."

The problem was when he blushed, he got even more embarrassed and so his face turned even redder than it was originally. It was horrible cycle he wished he could end it. Unfortunately, due to he Norwegian heritage he was incredibly pale and not very good when it came to tanning so he had nothing to hide behind except his blond bangs and even those weren’t the best protection.
Lukas looked at Sadiq before running into his back room and coming out with a cup of steaming chamomile tea. “Here a free sample of tea. Tomorrow would be fine. I like seafood if that’s alright with you?” Sadiq looked like he needed sleep badly and Lukas felt bad for delaying him so much. “My ankle will be fine it wasn’t a bad twist in the first place.” Lukas couldn’t help but feel excited for this date. Maybe this one would go better than the previous ones he had been on.

He looked away from seeing Lukas blush, he didn't want to embarrass him more than he already was, not matter how cute it was. He had to stifle a yawn, he was getting tired again, but that didn't necessarily mean that he would be able to get to sleep. Hopefully once he got home and drank the tea he would be able to sleep... it was probably all the stress that was getting to him, he should probably decrease the amount of dealings he had.
Watching the other go into the back room, he started wondering what he was doing when he came back out with a cup of steaming liquid. Hearing it was a free sample, he smelled it and took a sip. it was rather good. Drinking it slowly, he nodded. "Seafood is good with me. Should I pick you up here then?" He nodded and smiled slightly, it was good to hear that he would be good. "That is good to hear. Well, we can decide on a place tomorrow to go if you would like." He finished his tea and sat the cup down and stretched. "Thanks again Lukas, I'll see ya tomorrow, and I promise, I'll be wide awake. Oh, here, if you need to get a hold of me." He pulled out his card. It had his office phone number and where he worked on it, along with his name. Reaching over, he grabbed a pen off the counter and wrote his home phone on the back. He handed it to Lukas and waited for him to take it. "There now you can get a hold of me whenever you might need me."

Lukas could feel Sadiq stop looking at him and his face slowly return to its normal pale color. He could hear Sadiq trying to stifle a yawn. “You should really get home and get to sleep. We’ll see each other tomorrow.” Lukas could see the strain Sadiq was in trying to stay awake and felt guilty for keeping him so long. This man made him feel more emotions than he was used to feeling.
”Alright if that’s really okay with you then that’s what we’ll have.” Lukas took the business card and inspected it. It seemed like his date owned a club. That would be interesting. Lukas generally stayed away from clubs because the noise level and lights made his head hurt frequently. That’s probably why he had never met Sadiq before and because of how different their schedules were. “I’ll see you around five then. Sleep well.”

He nodded at what Lukas said and didn’t stifle his yawn this time. The other knew that he was getting really tired and he didn’t feel a need to hide it this time. He knew he could trust the other. "Yes, I’ll see you tomorrow. And don’t worry, fish is a good meal. What do you think about ice cream for dessert? I know all the places that have great stuff for dessert.”
He walked over to the door and turned around, smiling tiredly in the process “Have a good night Lukas, and thanks again the tea. I’m sure it will help.” With a small wave he turned and walked out of the building and blinked as the bright sunlight blinded him for a second. Once he regained his vision, he headed home, the bag in hand and found himself whistling a tune. Tomorrow was going to be a great day, he could only hope that it went as well as he hoped it would.
