Another day of hours were over and Francis walked out of the restaurant he was so fond of, followed by the light scent of various lunch foods and pastries that lingered on him. He exhaled and pulled off his gloves, reaching up and sliding the feminine tie off of his updone hair and letting it down. A shake of his head and a hand combing through the blond locks put it back into place, catching the pleasing whiff of the plentiful products he always used. The time was his now and he began to look around the affable setting; it was still daylight out and the sun was cast high. A glance from the corner of his eye noticed someone else leaving the place; a brunette girl he'd seen several times during work but they never quite had the chance to talk. And that was always very disappointing...

Angelica smiled as she stepped out into the warm sun. “It’s nice to be out of there.” she mumbled, pulling the ribbon out her hair and letting it fall into her face. Even though she loved her job, it wore her out after a while, especially after a long week of school and work. Tonight, however, she could go home and relax, seeing as she had no university tonight. “Vi, I wonder what I should do.” she started down the busy street, making her way home. “Seeing as I’m free tonight.” she started to think, her mind racing with ideas. Maybe she could watch a movie. No, paint her nails. No, that wouldn’t work…maybe.” she continued mumbling, when she realized something. “Crap.” she huffed, turning around. Leave it to her to walk in the wrong direction. Still lost in her own world, she didn’t even notice the blond man standing right in front of her. She did, however, notice when she bumped into him. “vi!” she cried out in shock. “I’m so sorry!”

A sudden bunt from what he later realized to be another person caught him off guard; the Frenchmen blinking himself back to reality and turning around to fixate his eyes on the female standing before him. It was again the woman he recognized from their work place, apologizing rather frantically -- he couldn't help but take notice of the strange noise she had made before speaking, almost enough to distract him from the rest of her accented words. He lifted a hand and waved it dismissively, offering a smile toward the worried woman that immediately showed he was not offended by the mistake; and even if that were so, the younger woman's reaction would have made up for it in time.
"Ah, no need to be, cherie," he drawled, hinting at a smirk and eyeing his acquaintance carefully. "You look like you might be lost," he almost immediately continued to speak. It was possible he might be keeping her from what she intended to do, whatever it was, by doing so, but that wasn't much of a matter to him.

Angelica gave a sigh of relief. “Lost?” she shook her head. “No, I’m not lost vi.” she blushed, embarrassed. “I was lost in my thoughts and started heading home in the wrong direction.” she admitted, looking down. She nervously twirled a strand of hair around one finger. “Damn it!” she thought. “Stop blushing vi! There’s no reason to blush!” Angel cleared her throat. “Anyway, once again, I’m really sorry.” She said, looking up. She felt her face go red again after seeing his smirk. She really wished she would stop blushing for a moment. It was embarrassing. “Well vi. I better be going...unless you want something from me…” She said, pushing her hair back behind her ear. It wasn’t like she wanted to do anything...But, she wouldn’t mind spending some time with the blond Frenchman. They did work together after all. And it would be nice to know someone other than her friends from school.
