Why is this door so heavy?, Arnita thought to herself as she struggled to push the door open. Finally she gained enough traction on the ground to give herself the ability to squeeze through the door. Once inside the library she tried to compose herself herself, flinching as the door slammed shut. Grabbing the nearest seat she quickly opened up her notebook on literature and began to study. The teacher had done everything but swear on his mother's grave that no one would pass this test.
Flipping the pages she cupped her head in her hands. It was hopeless, Shakespeare was too Shakespeare and who even cared about Chaucer any more? Flipping the page again she had already ceased to focus on the page and was just staring at it, hoping the information would find a way to seep into her mind.
Giving a sigh Arnita stood and went up to the librarians desk. Shivering she inquired where the Shakespeare stuff was. The lady gave a sigh and pointed to a shelf that was clearly labeled "Shakespeare". Thanking her , Arnita walked over to the case and tried to find a book of his sonnets.

Despite what other may have thought about the Bulgarian, if motivated, he does actually like to study. However, the key terms were "if motivated". Honestly, Aleksander finds it extremely difficult to sit down and condemn himself to working nonstop to get the A+ that so many desire to get. Aleksander is quite content with doing his essays twenty minutes before class and getting a B or a C on them. In his mind, he sees no point in trying since he has absolutely no idea what he wants to do with his life. To him, it's pretty much, "Why bother when I can spend my time doing something better?"
Still, he had a ridiculous amount of Physics homework that seemed like it was never going to go away. Ever. Unfortunately for him, that meant he'd actually have to sit down, open the textbook that had countless doodles on it, and do the work. Besides, he had already failed the previous test because he had been partying the night before, so doing the homework would be considered studying for the next test in his opinion.
With all that being said, Aleksander walked into the library spinning around a lanyard with car keys on it, humming a song that was just playing on the radio. Of course, that earned a glare and a shushing noise from the librarian, but the Bulgarian shrugged it off. He threw his books on the table and sat down. He opened the book to the chapter dealing with centripetal acceleration and groaned. Aleksander leaned back in his chair to scope out the room for anyone he knew.
There was the annoying librarian at her desk and in the Shakespeare section was a small girl. It seemed like there was no one else there, so he'd have to settle with striking up a conversation with the girl.
Without even looking at the shelf nor the book title, he grabbed a book off of the shelf. Really, it was only to serve the purpose of making him sound smart more than anything else. Aleksander casually walked over to the section labeled "Shakespeare" and eyed the girl. "Shakespeare... What an interesting person, don't ya' think?"
[[Sorry for the late reply! By the way, I had serious deja vu when I first read your post. It made me think of our first thread together with Pru and Taiwan. xD]]

Picking a book off the shelf, Arnita quickly scanned the page to find the sonnet she was looking for. Sliding her finger down the page she mumbled to herself,"XXI, XXI."the stupid numerals of the sonnet she was looking for. Why could Shakespeare title all of them, it would have made it some much easier to organize. Frowning she closed the book. Placing it back on the shelf she sighed. Who was to decide which of the sonnets were the best. Picking out a few other books she stacked them up beside her while the librarian gave her a dirty look.
"Shakespeare... What an interesting person, don't ya' think?"
Squeaking, Arnita quickly glanced upwards. He seemed to be a student here at the university, but definitely not in any of her classes. Stuttering she said back,"Y-yeah real sw-swell..." Shivering she put back a few books. Grabbing what she could she looked curiously at the book in his hand. She couldn't get a good look at the title so she leaned back and said,"I-I don't believe I kn-know you." Arnita assumed that he was an upperclassmen by the looks of him. the student was much taller than, but that wasn't saying much. She was still about the height of a freshman in highschool. Probably smaller.
Shifting her weight from foot to foot Arnita took another glance at her books. Oh how she loathed Shakespeare. Reading one of his plays is fine, but when you went as far as to read everything he ever wrote in two months? Then you were borderline crazy and off your rocker. It was like a different language, actually was. Most books had Shakespeare translated on the opposite page. At least when they were done with this unit the class would move on to creative writing.

Aleksander wasn't quite sure if he knew the smaller girl, but he was almost positive he had seen her before. He couldn't quite put his finger on it, but he had definitely seen her somewhere. Still, it wasn't that strange for him to strike a conversation with some random stranger, especially a female stranger.
"Haha! Of course! Shakespeare wrote some pretty interestin' stuff. May I recommend Macbeth? That's one of my favorites". As he thought about it, the Bulgarian was half tempted to check out Macbeth for himself and reread it for the billionth time. The whole plot was just enticing and compelling according to Aleksander. The whole deal with the shift of power from Duncan to Macbeth and then Macduff restored order. Perhaps the whole power trip that Macbeth had was what interested Aleksander the most. Surely, when he had power like that, he wouldn't make any mistakes.
He didn't know why the girl was shaking and stuttering. It made him a bit self-conscious, for girls didn't usually do that to him. Even with the shy ones, Aleksander would earn himself a deepened blush, then the conversation would really pick up from that point. "I'm not sure I know you, to be honest. But I'm pretty sure I've seen you somewhere before... You go to the university, right? Or the high school?"
Realizing that he still had the book in his hand, Aleksander glanced down at the title. All You Need to Know about Sex and More. Seriously. That would be the Bulgarian's luck. After reading the title, he shoved the book in the shelf and prayed that the girl hadn't seen the title. He then replaced the book with a book of Shakespeare's sonnets.
