Lars Zimmerman was having a nice ordinary day. His hair was lying flat as he was too lazy that morning to style it and honestly he didn’t want people staring at his scar of all things. He loosened the blue and white scarf around his neck as he began going over pie graphs to see what could be changed to make his company more efficient. He swished his pipe to the other side of his mouth. Money made the city go round and it always had and Lars was determined to have the most of it.
Holland’s Tulips was his pride and joy. The company he had brought from the ground up to where it was today. Who knew such a small gardening company could become so big and powerful? He always tried to keep it under the radar from The Government if they knew how much money Holland’s tulip actually, who knew what they would do.
“Mister Zimmerman,” the voice of his secretary, Lisa, sounded from the intercom on his desk.
“Yes Lisa?” He asked as he forced himself from sighing.
“There’s someone from the government who wants to see you.” She stated as even he could hear the nervousness in her voice over the intercom.
“Send them up.” It’s not like he could ignore them.

Ivan was grateful for having been let inside and granted his request to see the head man of the company, although his usual persistence would undoubtedly have kept him trying even if he were denied.
He eyed and flashed a small smile that was likely to bring uneasiness to those he passed by. He had taken a liking to the company already given his fondness for gardens and particular flowers, though what he was intending to discuss with the Dutchman was not entirely focused on that. He made his way to the office where he was directed, opening the door without knocking or anything very formal.
"Mister Zimmerman, da? I trust you are not too busy, there is something I wished to discuss."
He strode across the room, but not without taking a few glances around the room and its assets first - it was quite different from the places he was used to working in. Eyes took notice of the pipe in the other's mouth and the scarf around his neck, getting just a hint of the impression that he might not be too compliant on this particular subject of money, but it didn't quite matter.

Lars took a quick observation of his not quite welcomed guest. He wouldn’t have gotten far in the business world if he couldn’t read ally and foe alike. Short platinum blonde hair and wide violet eyes and a deceptively innocent smile sent quick warnings in his mind. Lars was almost positive this man could be beating you to death and would still have that same smile on his face. Lars was a lover of all things innocent and cute something he made sure no one outside of his sister knew and even she didn’t know everything. So seeing something that looked innocent but wasn’t quite so annoyed him.
“Ja, let’s get to business then. Time is money as they say and I have other plans today.” He took a quick puff of his pipe as he sorted his pie graphs and filed them away.
“Now what does The Government want with Holland’s Tulips?” He asked point blankly.

He could faintly detect the tense and skeptical vibes coming from the other man, but remained as if they weren't taken any notice of. He was watching steadily with the bore of his dark eyes, evidently less intent on getting directly to business after the Dutchman's statement. But he knew it was solely for the occupation he was well dedicated to and went on with what he was going to propose anyway.
The wisps of the pipe's smoke drifting underneath his nose and fading into the room went ignored, and his head gave a small nod. "I came on the subject of money. Apparently it is needed given all the damage that the Resistance has caused," he said calmly, although his voice was laced with a hint of irritation and dislike at the mentioning of the opposing rebellious group.
Whether Lars was on their side or his he couldn't recall, though since it seemed that this has been the first time he'd ever seen him, it was likely he wasn't affiliated with either.
