Trung Trac Nhi
Name: Trung Trac Nhi (Nhi Trac Trung)
Nation: Vietnam
Gender: Female
Age: 19
Occupation: Librarian Assistant and Student
Affiliation: Neutral, but she has nothing to do whatsoever with the Resistance and refuses offer help in the least. She prefers the Government, but getting involved with the would just cause trouble for her thus she prefers not choosing sides.
Superpower: Electro-Magnekinesis; Meaning Nhi can generate and manipulate electromagnetism which (with the exception of Gravitation) account for almost all physical phenomena observable to the unaided human senses, including light and other electromagnetic radiation, all of chemistry, most of mechanics (excepting gravitation), and of course magnetism and electricity. That said, Nhi hasn't actually mastered everything there is to her power, she's still learning but whether or not she'll ever master everything there is to Electro-Magnekinesis is unknown. Her abilities are lesser, but still impressive.
The downsides of her abilities is that she is unable to use her power a long amount of time, it tends to give her painful headaches if she prolongs the use of her power and she only uses it when it is absolutely necessary. On top of that, she can only affect a small radius around her with her power, so those who can stay out of range and still attack her certainly would have the upper hand. The radius is about thirty feet in width and thirty in height, but as she grows in her power it becomes a larger radius, but at the moment that is the radius.

Personality: The dark haired girl can come of as a very shy and distant young woman, she isn't the best at socializing with others thus she tends to stray off from doing so and keep to herself and her studies. She isn't good at making friends, she normally runs any possible hopes of friends off with her accidental rude comments, and because of that she just doesn't try hard to become friendly. She doesn't trust people easily anyway, as far as she's concerned they are all untrustworthy and just not worth the effort she'd have to put out to befriend them. She's far more observing from a distance anyway, it's a good way to learn things about others that they wouldn't want someone finding out. Despite her not trusting others, she finds herself very trustworthy and it's not a lie, she can keep secrets if only because she doesn't have anyone to tell it to, but really she doesn't think it's her place to go around gossiping. She hates gossip, so it's one of the last things she'd want to find herself doing.
Nhi is very stubborn, if she believes in something she puts her all into it and stands by it no matter what, she's the type of person who is very difficult to sway to something else, she's strong-headed and strong-willed, so she's not one to fall for peer pressure or someone to just do something because everyone else is doing it and if she doesn't she'll stand out. She doesn't really care if she stands out, she isn't there to impress anyone besides herself. She's very determined and so reaches for her dreams and keeps running toward them until they are in her grasp, clenched between her fingers. Along with that, she's very resourceful. She can make something out of the simplest of things, but it's all thanks to what her father had demanded she soak in while she was a young child.
The Vietnamese woman is the type of person you'd want with you if you were trapped on an abandoned island, she keeps her cool and remains calm even when others are panicking and rioting, she's a natural leader when push comes to shove and someone has to stand up and take charge, she doesn't like socializing but she'll get up on stage and take command if no one else will. She's good at ordering people around, she has a serious nature to her and her expressions are serious so more than not people take her seriously, even to the point they find her intimidating. Her intimidating features stem from the fact she does not joke around often, thus when she is told a joke she can make comments that make her appear as a hard ass that doesn't want jokes being told when she's around. She'll say things like, "What's that suppose to mean?" and though it is an innocent question, her tone of voice isn't curious, thus she sounds sarcastic.
Though she is a calm girl, when you manage to anger her (and it's not an easy task to do) she reacts very badly, she's not one to be violent but when angered the gloves come off. She does not like being angered, and when someone does it's usually on purpose, she gives fair warnings that they should stop bothering her but if they continue she just gets irritated and wants to shut the person up. She has gotten in trouble for punching people, and she's not a weak woman so her punches aren't taps, they're full on punches packed with her distaste for the person and or situation she was put in. She is very polite and respectful, though, she treats those above her and even below her with an equal amount of manners, she doesn't speak when not spoken to and does not make comments under her breath about people. Neither is she one to seek out altercations.
In short, Nhi is not good at socializing, she's untrusting of others and it takes a lot to get past her bubble. But if you get past Nhi's bubble, she's a rather timid girl when it comes to socializing with friends. She's awkward about it, and just plain "new" to it. She doesn't know how to be the friendliest, and she doesn't take psychical affection well, she'll push others off her if she's hugged and demand what the meaning of it was, her reactions are odd but if you keep at her she'll eventually become more comfortable. Of course she doesn't do a 360 change, she's just more accepting. However, for every friend who betrays her trust the harder her shell becomes and the more untrusting she gets.
Likes:
- Cinnamon Buns | Cinnamon buns are delicious, smother a little butter on the top and pop it in the microwave a few seconds, and you've got yourself a very tasty snack! Nhi's food of guilty pleasure, she'll eat countless buns if given the chance. The sweater the better, and she takes hers with plenty of icing on top.
- Traditional Vietnamese Food | Vietnamese food is what Nhi was raised on, thus she loves her homelands food and does miss it dearly, but she'll make due with the restaurants she can find. The food is great, and she loves it. It's the best food in the world as far as she's concerned, and she'll never pass up a chance at eating it.
- Reading & Writing | Reading is something Nhi often does in her free time, it's relaxing in her opinion. She likes interesting books, prefers factual books over fiction, but any book that can keep her interested is fine with her. She also enjoys writing, seeing as she isn't good at expressing herself verbally she prefers to write things down because she finds it easier and she's better at getting down what she means that way instead of sounding rude.
- Having her "Alone Time" | Nhi's "Alone Time" is a time where she's alone and can take a nap or drink tea, maybe read a book or watch the news. She really enjoys the time she gets alone, just by herself without having to be bothered by others or be forced into conversations she would rather avoid.
- Mornings | Despite most, Nhi loves mornings. She gets to wake up and take on a new task of getting through the day, and if it's a school day she's able to learn new things and pack them away in her mind. She really does enjoy school besides the pressure her father pushes on her to do well, but that's besides the point.
- Tea | Like reading, tea is relaxing and warm. It's delicious, and a healthy alternative to drinking sugar filled cans of soda. She does like the sweeter flavor of tea, but she isn't picky. As long as it quality tea she'll be happy with it and drink it contently. It's a calming drink, and relaxes her after a stressful day.
Dislikes:
- Pictures of Her Being Taken | Nhi doesn't see herself as being a photogenic person, and really doesn't like having her picture taken. She'd much rather shy away from the camera, and is very hesitant to accept getting her picture taken. Even school pictures bother her, she'd prefer to pass them up completely but some times she just has no choice.
- Arrogant People | To Nhi, arrogant people are obnoxious and big headed. Arrogance bugs her, boasting and showing off is nothing to be proud of, it only makes you look prideful and egotistical, and at times people don't like others showing off in front of them. Especially if others aren't able to achieve the something the arrogant person did, even though they'd die to be able to.
- Psychical Contact | Because Nhi isn't very sociable, things such as hugs make her uncomfortable and she can become cautious, demanding the person tell her why he or she has done such a thing. She will shove others off of her as a reflex, but if the result of shoving hurt them she will hesitantly apologize.
- Snooping People | When others stick there noses where it doesn't belong, it irritates Nhi and she finds the type of people very suspicious. Why do they need to snoop? Are they looking for something to use against someone? Questions likes these fill her head.
- Unnecessary Questions | Questions that lead no where are a complete waste of time. She doesn't like her time being wasted, and stupid questions are just that: stupid. If you need to ask her something, it better be serious and if not you better really need to know the answer.
- Owing People | Nhi hates when she owes someone, that means she has to think of a way to pay them back, and she isn't good at finding ways to do that. She'd rather not owe people because she can avoid them, but when she does owe people she has to go to them of her free will and try to search for an opportunity to pay them back, even if the person said it is unneeded.
Fatal Flaw: Nhi's fatal flaw is the fact she does not trust anyone. It's hard for her to put her trust in people, it takes a lot for someone to gain her trust and some just find it isn't worth the trouble. But she has had a rather difficult past, and has found that trusting others just isn't something that always has a good out come, and more than not it turns out to be one of the worst mistales she could make. She's hesitant in allowing someone to help her, because she's untrusting she can find every suspicious. When others do try to earn her trust, for a while she may think that they are just pretending to get information out of her or what not.

From A HetaOni Based Roleplay Site
As soon as she stepped foot into the seemingly old house when you looked at it from the outside, the Asian Nation's stomach twisted in a uncomfortable way. A eerie feeling hit her, and she didn't feel right being in the mansion. Feathers ran up and down her spine, and her wariness hit her full force. She didn't like being inside, she wanted to go outside, but then again she was wondering if this was America just adding to the eeriness with some sort of Hollywood gizmo gadget, she wouldn't put it past him. He liked scary movies if she could recall, so maybe he was trying to recreate some scene out of a horror movie. Either way, she didn't like it and did plan to question America about it, but she couldn't find him amongst the faces. She should have followed his obnoxious voice, but before she could concentrate the doors slammed shut. A few younger nations squeaked, but she remained still despite a small jolt of movement from her.
Honey golden eyes turned to the once open door, someone was trying to pull it open but it was of no use, it was like it was glued shut. Almost like it took on a mind of its own and intended to lock everyone inside. Was this also a plan of America's? No, he wasn't laughing or saying anything so she was starting to really doubt that being the case. "What's going on here?" Vietnam whispered under her breath, not talking to anyone around but herself. Brows furrowed, her body stiffening slightly as she tried to reason with why the door wouldn't open. Maybe it was just stuck, it was an old house if she recalled.
Speaking of which, looking around the interior, Vietnam finally took notice of the inside. The walls weren't dusty or rotten, and they should be if the place was abandoned. Everything looked nice, not old or in ruins. Did America possibly clean up? She doubted it, and that fact did not make her feel calmer.
It was getting warm in her TOPIO costume, but she refused to step out of it at the moment. She clenched her robotic fake gun tighter, a frown marrying her lips. I knew I should not have come here, I would have been better off at home reading a good book. The only reason Vietnam showed up at all was really only because the other Asian Nations had, and she didn't want to be bothered by Thailand, him and his "Ana~" could bother her... A lot. And she wanted to show off her costume without blatantly going around boasting about how well it was made and such, it was a pretty neat costume. But now with the scary incident, she was really wishing she could have just stayed home.
Maybe she should click her imaginary red heels together and and chant "There's no place like home"? If only that would work.
