Jan had just gotten back from the market place as he gets out of his Skoda Octavia, carrying the grocieries in his arms has he struggles to open the passenger seat of the compacted car. The Czech could hear his pet; a female Bohemian Shepherd dog Mursushka, yelping, barking, and howling for attention. She had to wait a little bit longer as Jan Novak helps his Turkish friend, Sadiq Adnan who also had his own bag of grocieries to carry out of the Octavia.
"Hey... Um... Thanks Sadiq for helping me do this," he says smiling to the Turk, "I bet that this is going to be fun, don't you think?"

Getting out of the car, he smiled and nodded a thanks to Jan. It was good to find someone that also liked to bake sweet things with…or many that would even believe he liked to bake. Really, was it that much of a surprise to find that out? Shaking his head briefly, he waited to follow Czech into his place so they could get to baking. This promised to be a lot of fun, plus a chance to try new sweets he had never had before.
“No sweat, I enjoy baking in general, and sweets even more. Thanks for asking me, not many people believe I’m all but addicted to them. Lead the way and I’ll follow.”

The Czech man nodded as he opened the door into the small tentament building, he and his canine campanion lived on ground level near the enterance to a small back patio. Jan showed Sadiq to the kitchen while a joyful Mursushka jumped up that the two, wagging her fluffy tail and kissing them, making it difficult to place the grociery bags on the counter. Jan thought quickly and started to rumage through the bags until he found what he was looking for... A bright red squeeky toy for the doggie! He hands Mursushka the toy and she gives him a kiss in return before picking it up in her mouth and totts off to play with it in another room.
Faceing towards the Turk now he gives a smile and states, "Lets get started, shall we?"

He had walked to the kitchen with Jan and had placed the bags on the counter before he started petting the dog. It was true that he usually liked cats better, but he didn't mind dogs. Scratching behind her ears as he watched his friend search through one of the bags to grab a dog toy that had been a last minute buy and watched her go off with it to play with in another room. "I must admit, you have a cute dog. And yes, lets get started. what would you like to start baking first?" He had all day and it really didn't matter to him, but they had to start somewhere and asking was a good of place to any to determine if Jan wanted to start with pastries from his region, or if it would just be a toss up to see what it would be.

He nodded a, "Ja, she is..." before unpacking the grocieries. The Czech thought about it for awhile and answered, "Whatever you would like, you are the guest, right?"

He nodded and thought for a bit about it before shrugging. "Why don't we go for some from your region first, i'm always interested to try new ones. Then we can go on to ones from mine."

"Okay," was his reply before adding, "We'll be making Kolaches then... They are a squared shaped pastry with with pineapples, apples, apricots, or even cheese and made for every special occasison. No, Czech celebration is complete without the Kolache." Then he plops the doe on the corner top and starts needing it with his hands while signaling Sadiq to start as well.

Nodding in response, Turkey got out his own supplies. He turned on the over to melt the butter with a Cinnamon stick and he started mixing the nuts and honey, sugar and water together. "I'll be making us Bakalava then, I'm sure you'll like it, its an a really good desert. It's really sweet so I hope you don't mind."
