Emma Lambert
Name: Emma Lambert
Nation: Kingdom of Belgium
Gender: Female
Age: 23
Physical appearance: Emma is a thin yet rather tall woman with pale skin and green eyes. Her hair is blonde and wavy, styled in a bob. She always wears a green or red ribbon in her hair. Although she has attractive features, she wears plain clothing so she doesn’t seem to stand out much compared to other women. She always has a bright, bubbly attitude, which makes her looks slightly younger than she is sometimes, due to her chirpiness.
Occupation: Journalist for a newspaper
Affiliation: Currently neutral (although would like to join resistance when that is open)
Superpower: Telekinesis. This is the power to move objects with your mind and use them to attack or defend yourself. This means that Emma is always able to defend herself in an emergency. However, she cannot control any object over 20,000 pounds (9, 000 kilos). If she tries to move them it can result in serious damage to her brain (e.g. minor damage would be a migraine, sever damage could be a brain tumour or a stroke). Also, the cold can weaken her control on objects slightly.
---
Personality: Emma is a mature woman with a cheerful personality, who comes across as very sweet. She is very open to people and has a kind, trustworthy heart. Emma always tries to see the good in people, no matter who they are. She is also willing to help people as much as she can and spread a bit of kindness, which sometimes makes her seem like a bit of a push-over. However, when angered she will not hold back and can become quite rude and frightening. She is willing to stand up for herself and her beliefs. In that respect she is very strong willed.
Emma is rarely seen not smiling, and she always tries her best to keep everyone else as upbeat as possible. But, she will often get hurt easily by the smallest things. If she is upset, she will try to cover it up and not make a big deal about it. She doesn’t really like being the centre of attention, and people fussing over her makes her feel awkward. However, Emma does try to be as outgoing as she can, because she loves being surrounded by friends.
Likes:
Chocolate and waffles- Emma is addicted to chocolate bars and chocolate waffles. She is nearly always seen munching on a bar at work, home (etc). Waffles are also her favourite comfort food, so if she is feeling a bit down it is the first thing she’ll turn to for cheering herself up.
Rabbits- Her older brother owned a rabbit when they were children and Emma used to look after it and play with it. Even now she’s grown up, she finds they’re her favourite animal and her heart melts when she comes into contact with one.
Writing- Emma has a passion for writing, which is why she became a journalist. Ideally, she’d love to be an author, but life always seems to be too busy for her to even start writing a book.
Comics- She also loves comic books, a secret passion of hers. She hates it when people say that comic books are for children. Tintin is her favourite series.
Jazz music- Emma grew up surrounded by jazz as her father was a saxophonist. She knows how to play the saxophone and will play it when she’s got free time. ((The saxophone was invented by a Belgian: Adolphe Sax))
Cycling- She loves going outside and cycling if she can.
Dislikes:
The government- Emma is very much against the government and is incredibly open about her point of view. She has even considered writing reports about her dislike for the government, but she knows how much trouble that will get her in if she does.
Not being in a relationship- She hates to admit it, but Emma feels incredibly lonely without that special someone... She’s good at acting so she never makes a big deal about it, but being single tears her up inside.
The cold- Emma enjoys being outside, but not when it’s cold! She feels sick when it’s too cold (plus the cold affects her powers).
Being ignored- She may not like being the centre of attention, but she is still there! So do not ignore Emma, please.
Fashion- Emma really doesn’t care about how she dresses or what the latest look is. So long as the clothes are comfortable, she’s happy.
Fatal Flaw: She is far too trustworthy. Always trying to see the good in people means that sometimes she’ll be blind to people’s true colours, which probably could put her in danger.

Roleplay Sample:
Emma Lambert strolled into the office with her usual, bright smile, humming a merry tune under her breath as she went. The blonde woman gave her colleagues a cheerful wave as she passed them, giving every single person their own individual greeting. Emma’s smile grew wider when she noticed that when she smiled at people, they seemed to start smiling too.
“Always good to pass on a little cheer,” she thought to herself when she reached her small cubical. With a sigh, the woman gently put her bag down on the soft carpeted floor and slid into her desk chair, spinning in a quick circle as the seat rolled over to her computer. Emma’s smile dropped a little and her eyes became slightly hard when she logged on and got straight to work. Emma was serious about her job, even if it felt... limiting sometimes. She wasn’t able to write about what she wanted to, and that irked her. Freedom of speech had practically been stamped out now, and journalists were only allowed to write reports on information given to them by the government. Even so, she had to make the most of it.
Slowly opening a drawer at her side, the blonde pulled out a chocolate bar and tore open the crisp paper without a second thought. She munched on the brown sweet contentedly whilst scanning through her emails to see what assignment she’d been given today. Her face scrunched up with disgust when she saw what she’d been given. A fashion assignment.
Emma raised an eyebrow and glanced down at herself. She hardly cared for appearances, as most people could easily tell from her old baggy T-shirt and jeans combination. There was no way she could write an article about fashion. Was this some kind of joke?
Her smile soon returned and she quickly stood up, making her chair jolt and roll backwards slightly. A look of determination flashed in the blonde’s eyes as she marched over to her boss’ office and waltzed into the cramped room, nodding politely to the man behind the large desk.
“Sir, I would appreciate it if I was allowed to do an article about something else today,” Emma stated firmly, yet politely. She didn’t want to anger her boss after the last time when she’d written an article criticizing the government. That hadn’t gone down well. She knew not to make that mistake again, no matter how much it tempted her.
