Aoife O’Neil
Name: Aoife “Eva” O’Neil (formerly Aoife Kirkland)
Nation: Republic of Ireland
Gender: Female
Age: 22
Physical appearance: Aoife is average height (about 5' 5") and has pale skin with freckles. Due to her pale complexion, she often seems to blush whenever complimented. Her hair is red, curly/wavy and incredibly long- falling past her waist. Usually she ties it back in a plait when fighting, playing sports or working. She has green eyes and thick black eyebrows like the rest of her family; only luckily for her they are not as huge. Do not be deceived by her petite frame, she may be thin but she has enough strength to rugby tackle most people. Aoife usually dresses in smart and stylish clothes (usually a skirt suit), and always wears something green (either an item of clothing or accessory).
Occupation: Assassin for the government, posing as a University student.
Affiliation: Government
Superpower: Fire manipulation. Aoife has the ability to create fire and control it to do what she wants. This is an incredibly powerful power, which is not only dangerous for enemies but useful in everyday life when you just can’t find a match or need to light up a dark room. Aoife can attack her enemies with fire and also set things on fire if she wanted to. But this power is controlled by emotions more than will, so she might end up accidently burning the house down when she's angry. Also drenching her in water will put out her fire and prevent her from creating another one until she dries off. This power requires a lot of mental and inner strength to control, and can exhaust her if she uses it non-stop for a long time, which will end up in her “inner” fire burning out.

Personality: Aoife is a rather complex person. She seems to have two sides to her, both of which are polar opposites. Usually she’s a very happy-go-lucky sort of character who is friendly and seems to be a fun person to be around. She is incredibly stubborn though, and has a bad mouth; a trait which seems to run in the family. Like the stereotype of redheads, Aoife is a fiery and feisty woman who knows how to stand her own ground but has a short temper. Aoife is a reliable friend, a person you would not want to be your enemy.
Her other “side” is dark and dangerous- when angered she becomes almost psychopathic. Aoife becomes an entirely different person who doesn’t care about hurting people. She usually takes on this trait when she is doing work for the government. The best way to her describe her when she gets like this is a beautiful nightmare. She can scare most anyone with a glare and becomes incredibly ruthless. This side of her is an infamous government agent, who nobody knows the identity of. Those who know this famous killer is Aoife find it impossible to believe that such a jolly girl could be so cold.
Likes:
Guinness- Aoife loves a pint (or maybe ten when she’s at the pub) of “the black stuff” after a long day.
Music- Aoife grew up surrounded by music. She’s a talented singer and fiddler, however her favourite music is Celtic punk and rock.
Collecting lucky charms- Aoife insists that she is blessed with good luck, and collects various trinkets. Her favourite are a pair of four leafed clover studs she wears always.
Rugby- Aoife is good at playing rugby. She really enjoys the fact you have an excuse to tackle people, and finds it a good way to let off steam.
Pubs- When she needs to unwind, she’ll always go spend some time at a pub and enjoy the company of strangers.
Dislikes:
Dealing with money- Aoife is terrible with money and often ends up getting into serious debt. She is not at all proud of her saving skills. She hates paper work in general, actually.
Snakes- Aoife suffers from Ophidiophobia after a bad experience with snakes when she was younger. They’re the one thing that really terrifies her.
Sexism- She is a feminist, and trust me, you do not want to piss off a feminist redhead by being sexist.
Her eyebrows- Aoife is lucky they’re not as thick as Arthur’s... but she still hates them. They embarrass her greatly, especially when someone points them out.
People not being able to pronounce her name- It really irritates her when people call her “A-oi-fe”. She usually just tells people she’s called Eva to make things a bit easier for them.
Arthur Kirkland (more love-hate than dislike)- Their relationship is complex. When they were younger, the two siblings hated each other and constantly fought. Aoife moved out when she was 16 and changed her name from Kirkland to O’Neil. Since then their relationship has improved, and Aoife will admit to loving Arthur as a brother. However, they constantly bicker still and there’s definitely sibling rivalry still. But they’re more like friends now, and sometimes she’ll agree to work with Arthur.
Fatal Flaw: She is incredibly stubborn, so much so she’ll ignore advice from others and do her own thing. For example, if she was told to retreat and she wanted to stay and do a bit more fighting, someone would have to literally pick her up and carry her away to get her to move.

Roleplay Sample:
A black car sat parked outside an empty looking building. The driver of the car smirked and slipped out of the leather seats, the material of her skirt rising slightly before she stepped outside. It was pitch black night out, but the woman was wearing sunglasses to hide her eyes. The redhead cocked her head at the building as she casually strolled over to it.
“This is where they’re hiding, then,” Aoife O’Neil chuckled darkly as she removed her sunglasses and slipped a pair of headphones into her ear. With a menacing grin, the woman tossed her head back and pulled out an iPod from her suit pocket, before selecting a song. U2’s Vertigo began to ring in her ears, and she began to tap her foot in time with the beat. Walking closer to the building, Aoife held out her hands and focused all her energy on the beat of the music that was starting to pulse through her body.
“Unos, dos, tres, catorce!” she sang in time, seconds before the guitar rift. A burning heat exploded in her body just as the heavy guitar began, and suddenly a jet of flames seemed to appear from her hands. The Irishwoman nodded her head in time to the music as she took a step back and with all the power she could muster, pushed forward. The flames shot ahead and engulfed the building instantly, burning and smouldering at the brickwork with a roar-like crackle. Aoife threw her head back and laughed as the flames rose higher and higher, lapping dangerously at the sky. Eventually, she lowered her hands and with a toss of her red hair, strutted away from the crumbling ruin of a building.
“Hello hello. I’m at a place called Vertigo,” she continued to sing along to the song, ignoring the chaos going on behind her. All of a sudden, a vibration in her pocket dragged her away from the music. O’Neil rolled her eyes and pulled out her mobile, quickly shoving her headphones back in her other pocket.
“What is it, Artie?” she chirped sweetly down the line as she sat on the hood of her car, watching the fire blossoming like a burning flower. The woman raised her eyebrows as she listened to her brother yell at her down the phone. “Don’t worry Arthur, target is destroyed.” Aoife crossed her legs over and leaned back, enjoying the show. “There’s no way those resistance members could get out of there now. Mission was a success.” Her voice was laced with venom when she spoke about her targets. “Besides, I made sure there were no witnesses, so it’s all fine. Nobody would suspect little old me of doing this.”
Aoife’s smirk grew after she hung up and slipped off the car’s front. With a quite laugh under her breath, the woman slipped back into the driver’s seat and drove off, leaving the burning building with no signs that she’d ever been there.
