With their increased resolve to put an end to the Resistance before they can grow even stronger, the Government has since turned their attention and efforts onto those who have not yet aligned themselves with a side. Those who claim themselves to be neutral in this ongoing, hidden war of the city.
And so a new recruitment program has started; enlisting new Government Agents under the term Hunters. If you join, it comes with a whole pack of perks; good pay, government funded lodging, government write-offs and all kinds of other benefits that come with the title. ...Not to mention the collar that the Government keeps a tight leash on. No privacy, at their beck and call, the possibility of being..permanently terminated at any moment should doubt or suspicion arise..
Their job? Hunt down those with useful abilities who are not part of the Resistance and..persuade..them to join the Government in its mission to eliminate the so-called terrorists. Persuasion comes in all shades, however. Ranging from simple sweet-talk, to bribery, to threats, to blackmail.
If the target in question refuses; they will then be deemed a threat to society and will be arrested on the spot. Taken into custody to be locked away until they can prove to be useful or until they are..no longer a threat.
If the Government can't use them..why should they be free for the Resistance to have them?
